If your generator fails to start, it may have gone into a “Fault Mode”. If this happens it will not be ready to start. It is important to clear the code. Many generators can have the code cleared by moving the Auto/off switch to the off position for 30 seconds and then moving it back to auto. If you are experiencing a power outage at this time, it may get the generator to start and operate for you.
